About the Course
This course is about understanding approximate errors of computation and inequalities. These topics are important to understand the results of computing tools and are used throughout calculus to calculate bounds and limits.
Topics include: approximation theory, errors of computation, significant figures, methods of bounds, inequalities, arithmetic and geometric mean inequality, Bernoulli inequality, mean power inequality, use of inequalities for approximation, quadratic mean, harmonic mean, Cauchy-Schwarz inequality.
